Kentucky State Police Host 8th Annual Bass Fishing Tournament in Monticello Saturday

Monticello, KY – The 8th annual Trooper Jason VanHook Memorial Bass Tournament is set to cast off on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Conley Bottom Resort in Monticello, KY. This cherished event, hosted by Kentucky State Police Post 11, will start at first light and conclude with a final weigh-in at 4 p.m.

Anglers are invited to participate in this memorial tournament with an entry fee of $100 per boat, accommodating two people. Each boat is allowed to catch a limit of five fish, with the payout determined by the number of entries.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Trooper Island Camp, supporting its ongoing programs for youth. Participants are encouraged to register early as the slots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of the paid registration.
