10,000+ cases of COVID-19 in Illinois, New York says 10,000 in one day

The State of Illinois announced this afternoon the State had passed 10,000 total COVID-19 cases earlier today.  IDHS officials report 1,453 new cases today, with 33 deaths, bringing the victim total in Illinois to 243 lives lost.

New York State announced 10,000 new cases of COVID-19 alone earlier this morning.
