Addison Police Respond to Shots Fired Near Fullerton and Hale: One Injured

Addison, IL — The Addison Police Department is actively investigating an incident involving shots fired in the vicinity of Fullerton and Hale. 

According to police reports, responding officers arrived at the scene around 1:00 PM Thursday, found one victim with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The injured individual was promptly treated and transported to a nearby hospital.

The police have assured the public that this was an isolated event and there is no ongoing threat to residents, nearby schools, or the general public. Area schools were not placed on lockdown at any point. 

Police officers and detectives remain on the scene to gather evidence and assess the situation.
