Ann Arbor, MI – A strong-armed robbery occurred at the Kroger on Washtenaw Avenue on Tuesday morning, prompting an active police investigation.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the grocery store. The suspect, described as a male, entered the store and presented an item for purchase. According to the Ann Arbor Police Department, when the cashier opened the cash drawer, the suspect pushed the employee, grabbed an undisclosed amount of money, and fled the scene on foot.

Witnesses reported that the suspect was last seen driving away in a silver sedan. Shortly after the Ann Arbor incident, police believe the same individual committed a similar robbery in Dundee. Surveillance footage from both locations is being reviewed to identify the suspect.
