Aurora Police Respond to Reports of Active Shooter, No Evidence Found

Aurora, Illinois – Aurora Police Department (APD) responded to multiple reports of an active shooter at a business on Kirk Road, Aurora, Illinois, on Thursday, at 9:40 p.m. 

According to police, officers found no evidence of a shooting after evacuating patrons and conducting a thorough search of the premises. The preliminary investigation revealed that an individual had brandished a firearm outside the business before fleeing in a vehicle. This incident remains under active investigation by the APD.
