Bolingbrook, IL – Teen Apprehended in Daylight Burglary: Police Call for Community Tips

Bolingbrook, IL – A 14-year-old juvenile was charged with residential burglary and resisting arrest following a prompt response from local law enforcement to a burglary in progress. 

According to Bolingbrook Police, the incident occurred around 3:58 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5th, in Lot P Fernwood Drive. Officers arriving at the scene spotted a male matching the description provided by an eyewitness. The suspect attempted to evade capture but was apprehended after a brief chase. The investigation has since connected the teenager to the scene of the crime. The juvenile is scheduled for a court appearance at the River Valley Justice Center.
