BRADLEY, IL – The Culver’s of Bourbonnais is holding a fundraiser Monday, May 8th, 2023, to support Sergeant Tyler Bailey and his family.
Bailey, a Bradley police officer, was critically injured while responding to a noise complaint at a motel on December 28, 2021. His partner, Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic, died of her injuries. Bailey had been recovering at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn for almost a year and recently returned home.
Culver’s of Bourbonnais is donating 25% of all sales made on May 8th to the Bailey family. The event, called “Make Your Meal Matter Monday,” encourages customers to support the local hero.
“There’s no limit to how much heart you can put into the community – and we’re always looking for opportunities for neighbors to help neighbors,” said a Culver’s representative.
The fundraiser is a significant effort to support Bailey, who has been hailed as a hero for his bravery in the line of duty. Hundreds of well-wishers lined the streets in Bradley to welcome Bailey home, along with his family, last November after a year-long hospitalization and rehab.
Culver’s of Bourbonnais hopes that the fundraiser will be a success and encourages everyone to come and give what they can to support the local hero. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Culver’s of Bourbonnais, located at 983 Convent St, Bourbonnais, IL 60914.
