Bourbonnais, IL – In a special Leap Day community outreach, Bourbonnais presents a mobile food pantry event to aid local residents.

The Original Secret Pantry is set to operate its mobile service today, as announced by the Village of Bourbonnais on Facebook. The event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., welcoming all who need food assistance. Organizers have suggested a $5 donation for those attending, but they emphasize that everyone in need can participate regardless of financial status.

Attendees are advised not to arrive more than 30 minutes early and to follow a specific route for picking up food to maintain traffic flow and avoid disruptions. The route includes a turn from Illinois Route 102 onto Stratford Drive East, then onto Briarcliff Lane, and finally onto Plum Creek Drive. The Village’s communication highlights the importance of not obstructing residential or commercial driveways during the event.
