Bourbonnais, IL – Early Monday morning, a collision involving a Bourbonnais Elementary School bus and a car occurred at the busy intersection of Route 102 and Convent Rd.Â
The crash took place around 7:30 AM as both vehicles were making right turns onto Convent Rd. According to the Bourbonnais Police, the contact between the two vehicles resulted in only minor damages.
Remarkably, all students on board the bus were safe and without injuries. School authorities promptly checked on the students’ wellbeing and determined the bus could safely continue its journey to school. This quick resolution helped avoid disruption to the students’ daily schedule.
