Chicago, IL – After a brisk Saturday, Chicagoans can anticipate a welcome rise in temperatures, with forecasts promising a reach into the 50s by mid-next week.

According to the National Weather Service, Chicago is set to experience above-normal warmth following today’s cold spell. The upcoming week brings minimal chances for rain, with only a slight 20% possibility on Thursday.

Looking ahead, the temperature trend favors warmer than average conditions through the end of February and into early March. Chicago residents should also prepare for potential stormy weather during the last week of February. With the long-range outlook tilting towards sustained warmth, the city is poised for an early hint of spring.
