Chicago Weather: Unseasonable Warmth and Storms Expected

Chicago, IL – Unseasonably warm weather is forecasted through Tuesday, with temperatures ranging from 80 to 88 degrees. Today, the high will be between 82 and 88 degrees, but temperatures will be cooler near the Illinois shore. Sunday will see highs of 80 to 86 degrees, with significantly cooler temperatures near the lake.

According to the National Weather Service, multiple bouts of showers and thunderstorms are expected Monday through Tuesday night, with a high likelihood northwest of I-55. Monday’s temperatures will range from 82 to 87 degrees, while Tuesday could see highs between 84 and 88 degrees. Despite the rain chances, many dry hours are anticipated on both days.

The National Weather Service advises that while showers and thunderstorms are expected, the highest chances of rain will be northwest of I-55. Monday night might experience scattered rain, and Tuesday night could bring strong to severe storms. Residents should stay updated on weather conditions and be prepared for potential severe weather.
