Cook County, IL – Robbie Gould, the former Chicago Bears kicker and the team’s all-time scoring leader, has been named the head football coach at Rolling Meadows High School, reports the Chicago Sun-Times.

Gould, who retired from professional football in December following a successful career with the Bears and the San Francisco 49ers, steps into the coaching role previously held by Sam Baker. The Pennsylvania native, who joined the Bears in the 2005 season, is also recognized as the 10th all-time leading scorer in NFL history.

This appointment marks a significant shift for Gould, as he transitions from playing in the NFL to coaching at a high school level in Cook County.
