Deadly Explosion in Bucklin: Three Killed in Kansas Tragedy

BUCKLIN, KANSAS – A sudden explosion rocked the quiet streets of Bucklin on Saturday evening, leaving three dead and another critically injured. 

According to authorities the explosion occurred at around 5:28 p.m. in the 100 block of west Center Street. Swiftly responding to distress calls, the Ford County Sheriff’s Office, Ford County Fire/EMS, and Bucklin Fire Department found three individuals deceased within the building. Another victim was rushed to St. Catherine Hospital in Dodge City for immediate medical attention.

Authorities are yet to release the names of the victims, awaiting family notification. Sheriff Bill Carr has called upon the Kansas State Fire Marshal Office to assist in deciphering the cause of this devastating incident.
