Detroit Weather: Thunderstorms Expected Mid-Week Across Southern Michigan

Detroit, MI – Clouds will dominate the sky today with intervals of drizzle and scattered showers across southern Michigan. 

Temperatures are expected to reach the low to mid-70s. According to the US National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac, high pressure will briefly settle in on Monday, bringing partly sunny conditions and temperatures ranging from 77 to 82 degrees. However, an unsettled weather pattern will return mid-week. 

Tuesday and Wednesday will see highs in the low 80s, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms likely. By Thursday, conditions will improve slightly with mostly sunny skies and temperatures between 73 and 79 degrees.
