PEOTONE – A multi car crash Friday ended with a vehicle crashing into a tree and power line outside Enchanted Shores RV Park.
It happened just before 1pm when a driver of a Jeep Patriot left the roadway at Route 45 and crashed their vehicle into the service lines.
Multiple cars were pulled off at the scene to check on the condition of the driver shortly after the incident. No word on how many vehicles were involved in the wreck or condition of those involved.
COMED reports around 28 customers in the area had been effected by the accident as of 3pm.
Illinois State Police are on the scene investigating the incident.
