Man Rescued After Vehicle Becomes Submerged in DuPage County Lake on Saturday

Glendale Heights, IL – Emergency responders conducted a dramatic rescue Saturday evening at Lake Becerra, where a man was rescued from a submerged vehicle. 

According to Glendale Heights police the incident took place around 6:40 PM in the 1700 block of Paul Avenue, saw divers from the Glendale Heights Police, Glenside Fire Protection District, and additional fire units swiftly extract a male occupant from the vehicle. He was immediately taken to GlenOaks Hospital for medical evaluation.

While the rescue was successful, details regarding the man’s current health condition remain undisclosed at this time. No further information surrounding the case has been released at this time.
