CLEARWATER, FL. – Two motorcyclists lost their lives Sunday on the Courtney Campbell Causeway, Clearwater Police Department confirms.
According to investigators, it’s believe excessive speed played a significant role in the fatal incident.
The eastbound lanes remained shut for hours as officials diligently worked the scene. Authorities have yet to release the identities of the victims.
