Fort Myers, FL – In an unexpected turn of events, a Florida woman, Anne Marie Lang, initially thought to be missing, is now identified as evading arrest on multiple DUI manslaughter charges.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Lang, who disappeared on March 15th, had several warrants out for her arrest. The revelation emerged during the investigation into her disappearance. The community’s concern took a sharp turn upon learning of her fugitive status. Lang failed to appear for her trial in Hendry County and is now considered a high-priority case by local authorities.

Law enforcement officials have enlisted the help of SWFL Crime Stoppers, urging the public to report any sightings or information related to Lang’s whereabouts. The authorities have assured confidentiality and have announced potential rewards for tips leading to her arrest. This case serves as a stark reminder of the complex scenarios law enforcement often encounters, where missing persons may have hidden facets to their disappearances.
