Flossmoor Resident Killed in Mokena Pedestrian Crash

MOKENA, IL – A Flossmoor resident was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle.

According to police reports it happened at 8:42 a.m. when Tho Le, a 37-year-old resident, was crossing Owens Rd and Old Plank Trail in Mokena.  Le was struck while crossing the street by a motor vehicle and rushed to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox where they were pronounced dead.

Le was identified as the victim in the incident by Will County Coroner’s office Friday morning following an autopsy.

The Mokena Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.  Toxicology results are pending at this time.
