NEW LENOX, Ill. — Lincoln-Way Marching Band (LWMB) of Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 announced Thursday it is preparing for its fourth march down the vibrant streets of Pasadena, Calif., during the prestigious 2025 Rose Parade.

This will not be their first rodeo, having graced the parade in 1982, 2000, and most recently in 2019. Under the guidance of directors Cary Ruklic, Justin Barnish, Christopher Mroczek, and Dr. Bert Johnson, the 200-strong ensemble has been a beacon of excellence. They recently stole the limelight at the 2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and earned accolades as a 2022 Bands of America Grand Nationals Semifinalist.

The band’s 2023 field show “Interstellar” has already captured Grand Champion titles in all three competitions. Their sights are now set on the Bands of America Indianapolis Super Regional at Lucas Oil Stadium come October 21st.
