Iroquois County, IL – Emergency Teams Tackle HazMat Incident Outside Crescent City Post Office

Crescent City, IL – Local emergency responders were called to a hazardous materials incident near the Crescent City Post Office on Saturday. 

According to Iroquois County EMA, the situation was effectively managed and contained, thanks to the swift actions of the Crescent City Fire District, Wateska Fire Department, EMS, and the Kankakee County Hazardous Materials Team. 

Details regarding the nature of the hazardous materials have not been released, but the area has been rendered safe following the incident.
