Kankakee County, IL – Gates Stolen from Martin Luther King Park in Pembroke Township

Kankakee County, IL – Kankakee County Sheriff’s investigators are on the lookout for crucial information relating to the theft of two 8-foot tall entrance gates at Martin Luther King Park in Pembroke Township. 

According to authorities, the gates were believed to have been removed from their hinges in the early hours, around 4 AM, on Monday. Investigators are urging the public to come forward with any information. 

Those who have any leads can anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 815-93-CRIME. The community hopes for a swift resolution to this unexpected and unsettling incident.
