Kankakee County, IL – No Injuries in School Bus vs Vehicles Crash near Bourbonnais

Kankakee County, IL – A Momence school bus was involved in a three-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning at the intersection of Route 45/52 and St. George Road, just east of Bourbonnais, Kankakee County. 

According to the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police, the incident occurred around 9 AM. Fortunately, no children were on the bus at the time, and no injuries were reported for the drivers of the other two vehicles involved in the collision. The area around the accident was promptly secured, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident. 

Traffic flow was temporarily affected but has since returned to normal. The Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department is handling the ongoing investigation.
