BRADLEY, IL – The 16th local National Night Out event will be hosted by area law enforcement agencies on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until dusk at the Bourbonnais Park District’s Perry Farm.

The event aims to raise awareness about crime prevention and drug awareness, as well as generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs.

The event, which draws 4,000 people from all over Kankakee County, will offer a family-oriented evening with free food and refreshments, various demonstrations, and activities for all ages. Local public safety and social agencies will provide information about the various services they provide and will be available to answer any questions or concerns.

The Silhouettes, Kankakee County’s popular music group, and other local groups will provide entertainment throughout the evening, which will culminate in a spectacular fireworks show.

This collaborative effort involves area law enforcement and public safety agencies, residents, civic and social agencies, and various businesses in the community. However, the 2023 NO Committee is seeking sponsors and financial donors to continue this important event.

A minimum $250 donation will be required to be placed on the event t-shirt, and the deadline for the donation to be on the t-shirt is June 10th, 2023.

For those interested in donating or seeking further information, Deputy Chief Adrian Provost of the Bradley Police Department can be reached at 815-936-5106.
