BBCHS student detained, sent to hospital after threatening self harm

BOURBONNAIS – A Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School student was detained and transferred to a local hospital this morning after allegedly threatening to harm themselves.

According to Bradley Police, the incident happened early this morning when the student allegedly walked onto the campus of Olivet Nazarene University and made the threat to cause self harm.  

The student was detained before being transferred to a nearby hospital for evaluation. No further details have been released into the nature of the incident.

Bourbonnais Police, who assisted in the incident, say there is no threat to the public at this time.
