BOURBONNAIS – Local libraries have a theme this month: Dinosaurs!
It comes after the Kankakee Area Library Association chose Michael Crichton’s “Jurassic Park” as the community shared book to read this October. Several libraries will participate in the program, including libraries in Bradley, Limestone, Manteno and Peotone.
As a special treat, the Bourbonnais Library will prepare for a visit from T-Rexplorers on October 12th at 5:45pm. The unique, science based dinosaur discovery program tours local libraries and schools across Illinois to show children and parents first hand treats left to us by the prehistoric creatures. Children are also allowed the opportunity to handle and examine authentic dinosaur fossils during the visit.
