BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School District 307 is offering a Parent University talk on “Making Peace with Anxiety” on Tuesday, March 28, at 6 pm in the BBCHS auditorium.

Sara Falk, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience in mental health, will be speaking to parents about her own personal struggles with cancer and anxiety and how she has made peace with living with that anxiety.

Falk, who works at Keystone Counseling and is the author of 10 books, both fiction and non-fiction, will draw upon her experience and expertise to help parents understand how to manage anxiety in their own lives and in the lives of their children.

Anxiety is a common mental health condition that affects millions of people worldwide. It can be debilitating, but with the right tools and support, it can be managed effectively. The Parent University talk aims to provide parents with practical strategies and insights to help them cope with anxiety in their daily lives.

The event is open to all parents in the BBCHS community and is part of the school district’s ongoing commitment to supporting the mental health and well-being of its students and families. Parents are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this valuable opportunity to learn from an experienced mental health professional.
