Teen arrested for XBOX theft in Aroma Park

AROMA PARK – A teen was arrested on alleged residential burglary charges Tuesday afternoon.

According to Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police, it happened in the 300 block of South Bridge Street yesterday afternoon.  Deputies responding to the call were told by a homeowner a suspect has taken an XBOX ONE from the home along with two controllers for the system.

Three juveniles matching a description of the potential suspects were located shortly after and subsequent search turned up the device in one of the kids book bags.

The teen was arrested on residential burglary charges.  No further details have been given in the case including names of the suspects given the juvenile’s age.
