Indiana Man Rams Sheriff’s Cars in Newton County Chase

NEWTON COUNTY, IN – A routine morning for Newton County Sheriff’s deputies took a dramatic turn when they arrested a 39-year-old Lowell, Indiana man, Daniel J. White, after a harrowing chase on Wednesday. 

The incident unfolded on Route 41 near Newton County Road 50 when deputies attempted to pull over White’s vehicle.

Instead of complying, White reportedly chose to flee, sparking a high-speed pursuit that left law enforcement officers on edge. In a shocking twist, White allegedly used his car as a battering ram, targeting two separate Newton County Sheriff’s vehicles during the chase.

The relentless efforts of the deputies ultimately led to White’s apprehension. He now faces serious charges of resisting arrest and battery with a deadly weapon.
