Joliet Police Discover Man Shot, in Critical Condition After Crashing into Fence

JOLIET, IL – A 48-year-old man was found shot and in critical condition inside a vehicle in the 900 block of Draper Avenue Tuesday night at 8:30 PM. 

According to Joliet Police, the victim was shot by an unknown suspect while seated in the driver’s seat of the vehicle on Magnolia Avenue. The victim then drove away and crashed into a fence on Draper Avenue. 

He was transported to Silver Cross Hospital with critical injuries.
