Shots fired near St. Paul School in Joliet Thursday

JOLIET – Shots were fired near St. Paul School in Joliet Thursday just before 6 pm when two vehicles began fire weapons at each other for reasons unknown.

According to reports, it happened around 5:45 pm Thursday when two vehicles were heading westbound on Oneida Street and one occupant began shooting at another.

Children were in the basement of the School at the time of the shooting and were never in any danger, but a window was damaged by stray bullets during the incident.
