Monee, IL – Officers Respond to Shooting Incident on Jonquil Street

Monee, IL – In the Village of Monee, local authorities are actively investigating a shooting event that occurred on the 24500 block of Jonquil Thursday evening.

The Monee Police Department (MPD) has affirmed that the area has been secured and there is currently no threat to the community. Officers are continuing to work on-site and will maintain a presence in the neighborhood to ensure public safety. 

Residents can expect to see law enforcement in the area while the investigation is ongoing. Further details are expected as the MPD progresses with their inquiry into the incident.
