Lombard Ramps Up Patrols in Response to Recent Events Overseas

LOMBARD, IL – In response to developments in the Middle East, the Lombard Police Department (LPD) is increasing patrols today, Friday, October 13th. 

Teaming up with the Crime Prevention Information Center and the Illinois State Terrorism & Intelligence Center, the LPD is diligently monitoring and ready to act. 

Although no direct threats are anticipated, the heightened patrol efforts are a proactive measure to ensure the security of all community members and local businesses.
