Macomb House Party Tragedy: Multiple Injuries, One Fatality Reported

MACOMB, Ill. – A house party in Macomb, Illinois, took a deadly turn early Saturday morning, leaving one person dead and several others injured. 

According to reports, an altercation broke out during the party, and shots were fired, resulting in multiple injuries. 

The Macomb Police Department received a call about the incident at around 1:55 am and quickly responded to the scene. The injured individuals were rushed to the hospital for treatment, but one succumbed to their injuries.

The police have requested that anyone with information about the incident come forward and contact them immediately. They have also asked for video footage of the event, which may help in their investigation. Videos can be sent to citizenconcerns@macombpolice.com.

Police have assured the public that it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public at this time.

The Macomb Police Department is continuing its investigation and has urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in the area.
