LEMONT – A man has died after jumping off the I-355 Bridge in Lemont.
Witnesses report seeing 38-year-old Joshua D. Bair of Des Plaines jumping off the bridge, the Will County Coroner’s office reported Tuesday. Bair was pronounced dead on the scene at 2:05 pm.
“The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date pending police and toxicological reports.” Will County Coroner reported Tuesday. An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday.
Illinois State Police District #15 are investigating Bair’s death.
Josh was a gentle and kind soul. My family knew him very well. I hope he is at peace. We will miss him greatly.
