Peoria, IL – Following a reported robbery at a business in the 3000 block of N. Sterling Avenue, Peoria Police apprehended multiple juveniles on Monday.
According to the Peoria Police Department, the incident occurred around 12:12 p.m., when three male juveniles allegedly robbed the business and fled the scene.
Officers located suspects matching the descriptions in the 3000 block of Woodbine Terrace. A loaded handgun was discovered near one of the juveniles during the arrest. The detained individuals, two aged 14 and one aged 16, face several charges, including Aggravated Discharge, Armed Robbery, Mob Action, Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Retail Theft, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Resisting Police.
