JOLIET – NASCAR will not be returning to Chicagoland Speedway in 2022.
The Speedway was snubbed for the third consecutive year after the sport released the 2022 schedule earlier today. Chicagoland lost its race in 2020 due to COVID-19 and had a slot this year given to Road America in Wisconsin.
St. Louis’ Worldwide Technology Raceway and Fontana’s Auto Club Speedway were added to the schedule. The Daytona Road Course will also not return in 2022.
