Nashville, TN – In a serious development on Friday morning, Nashville authorities apprehended a 31-year-old man on allegations of child sexual exploitation.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, James F. Austin was taken into custody following the alleged discovery of over 30 files depicting child sexual abuse on a cloud-based account linked to his cell phone. The arrest was the result of a cyber tip forwarded to the MNPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
