According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the collision occurred around 10 p.m., involving a Nissan Altima and 24-year-old Perry Reed. Reed, who was walking westbound on the right side of the road, was hit by the vehicle. The driver of the Nissan reported not seeing Reed prior to the collision.
