NBC PEACOCK Streaming Service launches, for free

Peacock is the latest streaming service launched Wednesday with a surprising announcement.

The service is free.  The App is rated for users 12 and up on the iTunes store.

Peacock is now available on a variety of devices and will offer up NBC favorites, live sports, live news and channels with commercial options for users.  Users can upgrade to offer limited or no ads as well.

The app launched with classic NBC content like 30 Rock, Parks & Recreation, Law & Order, and more. Future content coming to the platform includes shows including The Office.

The service will offer a variety of paid tiers to users, including Peacock Premium which allows access to all content for $4.99 a month, and Peacock Premium Plus, which is ad-free, for $9.99 a month.
