La Porte County, IN – Qihui Sun, a 33-year-old from Queens, New York, found his luck waning on St. Patrick’s Day after reportedly leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase along US 20.

According to reports the pursuit, initiated by Deputy Julian Sanchez of the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office, began when Sun’s vehicle was reportedly observed speeding and allegedly failed to stop when signaled. The chase, which also spanned State Road 2 and involved several law enforcement agencies, including the Indiana State Police, ended with Sun’s vehicle being halted by tire deflation devices.
