Putnamville, IN – Putnamville District Troopers embarked on a rigorous Saturation Patrol across Vigo County on March 15 and 16, netting a total of four arrests for impaired driving. The operation, part of a concerted effort to curb dangerous driving behaviors, also led to the discovery and recovery of a woman reported missing for three days. Collaborating closely with local law enforcement and fire departments, the initiative further resulted in 14 arrests on various criminal charges.
According to the Indiana State Police, the weekend patrols were a significant undertaking, yielding 26 traffic citations and 78 warnings. The effort underscores the state’s dedication to enhancing road safety and the commitment to relentless surveillance and enforcement to deter impaired driving.
