Indianapolis, IN – Residents and travelers south of US-30 in Indiana should prepare for rain and storms starting Monday afternoon, continuing into Tuesday morning, with another wave anticipated Tuesday afternoon and evening.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis forecasts that while severe weather is not expected, the repeated rounds of rain could affect outdoor activities and travel.

Temperatures are set to fall into the upper 50s overnight, offering clear to partly cloudy skies, which may also present a rare opportunity to view the Northern Lights in the region, especially through long exposure photography.
