Rep. Parkhurst Partners with Toys for Tots

KANKAKEE – State Representative Lindsay Parkhurst (R – Kankakee) today announced the 79th District Office is partnering with the Marine Corps Reserve for the Toys for Tots program for a fourth consecutive year.

“Our goal is to ensure every child in the 79th District can enjoy a Merry Christmas and have a happy holiday season. Please look for a donation box and donate a new, unwrapped toy for a child in need,” Representative Parkhurst said.

Representative Parkhurst has a collection box in the 79th District Office located at 370 E Court Street in Kankakee.  Additional drop off locations can be found on the Kankakee Toys for Tots website at kankakee-il.toysfortots.org.

Online registration to receive toys is open now. For questions relating to the Toys for Tots program including registration and distribution, please contact the Kankakee Coordinating Officer, Gail Oliver at 815-277-9229. The 79th District Office can be reached at 815-523-7779.
