Royal Center, IN – Bomb Threat Leads to Evacuation of Pioneer Schools

Royal Center, IN – A bomb threat this morning led to the evacuation of Pioneer Schools in Royal Center, Indiana. 

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, all students are safe and have been moved to designated evacuation locations. The department announced that parents have the option to pick up their children; however, if the buildings are cleared, classes may resume. Bomb detection K9 units and technicians from multiple jurisdictions are currently responding to the situation. 

High school students have been evacuated to Baptist Christian Church, while elementary students are at Royal Center United Methodist Life Center. The threat was reported Monday morning sometime around 9 a.m., with no further details available at this time.
