DWIGHT– An overturned semi-near Dwight was just one of the weather-related crashes across the area delaying traffic Friday afternoon.
According to Illinois State Police District 5 Lockport, it happened just after 3 pm on I-55 when a Truck Tractor Semi-Trailer overturned on the I-55 southbound ramp to Route 47.
No injuries were reported. Cleanup was expected to take around three hours and reopened shortly after 6pm Friday evening.
State Police are asking residents to avoid the area.
A Tow Ban has been in effect for most of the day.
