Social Security offices across the State of Illinois will be closed to the public for in-person service starting today.

The move was made due to the average population the office serves, older Americans with underlying medical conditions, who are most susceptible to COVID-19.  The Social Security Offices will remain providing critical servies to the public both by phone and online.
