Southern Michigan Braces for Small Hail and Overnight Storms into Wednesday

Detroit, MI – Showers and thunderstorms are expected to expand across southern Michigan this afternoon. While severe storms are not anticipated, small hail and gusty winds are possible with stronger storms.

According to the US National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac, showers will persist overnight, potentially continuing into Wednesday morning before subsiding. High pressure will bring drier and warmer conditions for the rest of the week. Temperatures are expected to reach around 70 degrees today, with lows dropping to the low 50s tonight.
