Springfield, MI – Man Arrested for Firing Shot at Neighbor’s Door

Springfield, MI – A Springfield man allegedly fired a shot at a neighbor’s door early Friday morning before being apprehended.

According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a shots-fired complaint at 3:18 a.m. on the 4200 Block of W Dickman Rd. The suspect, a 27-year-old Springfield resident, was reportedly seen yelling at a neighbor’s door before allegedly firing one round and fleeing. The victim identified the suspect as an acquaintance. The suspect was later located and arrested without incident.

He faces charges for reckless discharge of a firearm into an occupied building and possession of a firearm during a crime. No injuries were reported.
