US Route 6 Morris Collision: Semi Truck Versus Car Leads to Extraction, Road Closure

Morris, IL – A severe accident involving a semi-truck and a car on US Route 6 near Brisbin Road has led to significant efforts for victim extraction, as reported by the Morris Fire Protection District. 

The incident, which occurred around 10:30 AM, caused heavy damage to the involved vehicles and necessitated immediate extrication procedures. Emergency response teams from Minooka were dispatched to assist with the operations. 

Due to the accident, a section of US Route 6 has been closed to traffic, with local authorities urging drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. Updates on the situation, including any injuries sustained during the collision, will be shared as they become available.
